In short
HEJİR knows as little about you as possible. Your profiles, macros and scripts never leave your PC unless you make a cloud backup; your key presses never do. The app has no telemetry, ad tracking or usage analytics; the website's measurement is described separately below.
Cloud backup
If you press "Back up now" in Settings > Backup, or turn on the daily automatic backup, your profiles (mouse, keyboard, macros, scripts, crosshair, sound and gauge settings), your app settings and your music list are stored with your account on our server (Supabase, EU). Key presses, the apps you open and the sound you hear are never part of a backup. The newest 10 backups per account are kept; deleting your account deletes them at once. The automatic backup stays off until you turn it on.
What we collect
What the licence needs: your email, your subscription status and an irreversible hash derived from your device (for the trial and single-session rule). When a trial starts, an irreversible, salted hash of the network you connect from is also kept; it only helps recognise the same PC asking for a second trial and is deleted after 30 days. Your IP address is not stored. If you use HEJİR AI, your daily request count (below). We never see payment details; the payment provider handles them.
What we never collect
Keys you press, apps you open, the title of the window in front, the music you play and screenshots are processed on your device and never sent anywhere.
Listening to sound
Sound-started macros and ear protection listen only to the app you choose. The sound is processed in memory on your PC; it is not recorded and never sent anywhere. Of a sound you teach, only a short fingerprint (a frequency summary, not the sound itself) is kept on your PC; when you share a macro, that fingerprint goes into the share code.
Phone notices
If you give a macro's Alert step a phone target, only that step's text goes to the service you chose (ntfy, Discord or your own address). That service's own privacy rules apply; we never see the text.
Games list
For My games, the files Steam, Epic, Riot and other launchers keep on your PC and Windows' list of installed programs are read. The list never leaves your PC.
HEJİR AI
HEJİR AI is a chat window. When you are signed in, the message you type or say, the chat's last messages, the app language and a short summary of this PC's HEJİR setup (what the mouse buttons do, the keyboard profile, macro and script names, whether the crosshair and HUD are on) are sent to our server and to our AI provider Anthropic (USA) to answer. File paths, account details and anything you type in other apps are not sent. Our server does not keep the messages; only your daily request count and which actions were taken (not what you wrote) are stored with your account, for 90 days at most. The chat history stays on this PC only and is cleared with one button. Do not type personal information into the assistant. You can switch it off completely with the eye button in its corner.
Talking by voice
The microphone opens only when you press the mic button or the talk key you chose. What you say is turned into text by speech recognition running on your PC (whisper.cpp); the recording stays in memory, is deleted right after it is written down and is never sent anywhere. Only the resulting text goes to HEJİR AI as above. The speech model is downloaded once on first use.
Country
The app adds the country from Windows' region setting (two letters, e.g. BE) to the device record, so the owner's dashboard can count users per country. No location is looked up from your IP address and no city or position is taken.
Waiting list
If you leave your email on the site's list, your address, the page's language and the sign-up date are kept, plus an irreversible hash of your IP address to stop many sign-ups from one place. We use your address only for HEJİR news. To leave, just write to support@hejirapp.com; your address is then deleted.
Account actions and sharing
A short log of what you do with your account is kept: starting a trial, activating a device, subscription changes, gift and invite codes, sharing to the gallery and assistant requests (only that one happened, not what you typed). It is there to check the licence, abuse and rewards; how you use the app is not tracked. A crosshair code and the name you give it are public once shared to the crosshair gallery; likes are stored with your account, and you can remove your share at any time.
Update check
The app asks whether a new version exists by fetching one file from our site. No personal data is sent with it; as with any web request your IP address reaches the server (the hosting provider's usual access logs). This request is not part of the website's measurement.
The website, cookies and measurement
The site runs a cookieless visit counter (Cloudflare Web Analytics): it sets no cookies and does not recognise you; it only counts how often each page is opened and which site a visit came from. In Europe, the UK, Turkey, Brazil and Korea nothing else is loaded unless you press Accept. If you accept, Google Analytics and Google's ad measurement use cookies: the pages you look at, where you came from and whether you clicked one of our ads are counted under a pseudonymous ID; your key presses and nothing in the app are part of it. With Customise you can allow measurement and leave ad measurement off. In other countries this measurement is on by default; if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal it is never loaded. Your choice is stored in this browser only; change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Videos in news posts load nothing from YouTube until you press play. Best scores in the free tests stay in your browser.
Retention and deletion
When you delete your account, licence records and the log of your account actions are erased within 30 days; invoices are kept as long as the law requires.
